FLOORBOARD EXPLAINED No hihat without a hihat pedal. RHYTHMTANDEM provides for a full size aluminium footboard which precisely reacts on all the movements of your foot. To the left of the pedal you’ll find the BASS ONLY switch, used in bass solo’s and intro’s. At the right there is the RIDE switch. It’s a latching switch which skips between ride and hihat. Want ride? Kick the switch. The hihat sound is now available when playing the ride cymbal of your digital kit. Want hihat? Kick the switch again!When holding the BASS ONLY switch you don’t hear a hihat or ride sound while playing the pads. Only the middle pad is active for playing hihat or ride sounds. The blue led on the sound processor (right above the switch) lights up. You can switch from HIHAT mode to RIDE mode by activating the RIDE switch. Being in HIHAT mode you step one time on the switch to get the ride sound. Stepping the switch again results in coming back in HIHAT mode (normal mode).
